Me llamo Lisy y tengo 13 años, pocas veces cuando nos recogen abandonados pueden saber nuestra historia, pero en mi caso por una serie de casualidades han podido averiguarla.
Una vez tuve una familia y una dueña que me quería, me adoraba y cuya mayor preocupación era que seria de mi vida cuando ella dejara este mundo. Cuando mi dueña me dejó yo tenia 6 años, un día dejó de acariciarme y sacarme de paseo y más tarde escuché decir que había muerto y que yo era un problema. ¿Problema?, yo no sabia que significaba eso, ella siempre decía que yo era una princesa.
Su familia como suele ser habitual, se quedó su dinero y regalaron a su princesa.
Desde entonces mi vida ha sido una desdicha, viví en una familia que nunca me trató bien y tan solo me soportó, hasta que un día se cansaron y me llevaron a vivir sola en un campo.
A mí no me gustaba estar sola y una y otra vez me las ingeniaba para escaparme y salir en su busca. Siempre me recogían perdida por las cercanías y entonces tuvieron la brillante idea de construirme una celda, una cárcel sucia y estrecha donde pretendían que viviera encerrada toda la semana. Conseguí escaparme aun no se cómo y eche a andar por la carretera, llevaba mucho camino hecho cuando paró un coche y una voluntaria me recogió.
Gracias a los carteles que puso pudieron dar con mi dueña y conocíeron mi historia, mi dueña ya no me quería, de pronto a mis 13 años me habían cogido alergia, la excusa más usada para abandonarnos.
No me queda mucho tiempo de vida, si me adoptas, Viviré pocos años contigo, pero prometo que te daré mas amor del que nunca nadie te haya dado.

Es muyyyyyyyyy cariñosa (cuando vamos las voluntarias al campo se pasa todo el dia detrás nuestra para que le demos cariñito), se lleva bien con todos, personas y perros .
La pobre no entiende nada, ... porque es lo más bueno y bonito que hay (me atreveria a decir que es la mejor perra del mundo).

Baxter fue un "Perro Terapia" gran parte de su vida, para pacientes terminales en San Diego.
Murió el 16 de octubre de 2009 con más de 19 años, todo un récord.
La Propietaria d Baxter, Melissa,visitó al final de su vida a los pacientes d forma regular, trayendo alegría a la gente sin esperanza. A causa de la artritis, Baxter no podía caminar más, así que Melissa lo llevó a la cama de los pacientes cada vez que visitó, por lo que podría pasar tiempo de calidad juntos.
Sus pruebas para convertirse en "Perro de Terapia" fueron duras, y sin entrenamiento previo las superó todas, dejando a su propia dueña sin habla.
Desde entonces ha ayudado a mucha gente, y ha acompañado a otros en los últimos momentos de su vida, todo para ser por siempre el Mejor Perro Terapia que haya existido.
Descansa en paz querido Baxter, siempre te recordaremos...

 Researchers from the Vatican re-start the debate about the shroud of Turin (Shroud of Turin). They said that there was a vague text file on the surface of the linen shroud it was proved that the cloth used to wrap the body of Jesus. However, other researchers doubt it. El pobre Buck solo es un cachorro, su vida hasta ahora debe haber sido miserable, no te explicas cómo a su corta edad puede llegar a estar en tales condiciones. Debió ser el típìco perro sarnoso que todo el mundo espanta a patadas.
Tenía por cama un monton de hojas mojadas, se refugiaba de la lluvia torrencial como podía, así le encontramos tirado, tembloroso y sin moverse, al ir a tocarle lo unico que hacia era ponerse a chillar, sin ser capaz siquiera de levantarse de las patas de atrás. Pensábamos que estaba atropellado o moribundo, hasta por el olor que desprendia el pobre.
Solo tenía frio, mucho pánico, y muchas cicatrices de lo que hasta ahora habrá sido su vida.
Medio ciego, con los dos ojos punzados y ulcerados, uno totalmente perdido y sin visión, del cual habrá que operarle para quitarsele, el otro tiene algo de visión y está en tratamiento para recuperarle.
Su cuerpo lleno de heridas "de guerra", su pelo no era pelo, se le caía a cachos, el pobre no era mas que pellejo, calvito por donde le mires. Su cuerpo no era un cuerpo, era un esqueleto andante, que gracias al poco pelo disumulaba su extrema delgadez.
Buck no parece un cachorro, físicamente es perro viejo. Pero por dentro, su nobleza, su ignorancia, su bondad... por dentro es tan cachorro, tan buenazo a pesar de su triste vida, él solo quiere vivir y ser feliz, es agradecido, noble, salao y mimoso.
El aventurero y valiente Buck, que en su dura batalla contra la vida perdió un ojo, y parte del otro, que a pesar de su delgadez y mal aspecto, es todo un atleta saltarín y pizpireto, que a pesar de sus dientecillos de comadreja, es una monada.
Ójala alguien vea estas cualidades suyas, sin importar su físico, no como la mayoria de gente con la que nos cruzamos, que encima te miran hasta a tí con mala cara.
Buck es de tamaño pequeño, todavía es un cachorro, es negativo a leishmania, filaria, y erlichia.
Se conforma con cualquier cosa, con tal de tener una simple cama que no esté hecha con hojas mojadas.
